Amongst the most precious moments in life for me, are the times
when I can observe and listen to the Sea.
No matter on which coast or shore we encounter, it`s like meeting "an old friend" again
- who is forever expressing different moods.
Sometimes calm and tranquil, othertimes stormy and impetuous.
During this summer I recaptured these emotions on canvas. It was a great venture,
after an interval of nine years to grasp once again an artistic theme.
After cities, now waves - and also leaving the accustomed paths of expression.
It was a very rewarding, contemplative and wonderful time.
I discoverd that I no longer need to love this "friend" anymore but together
with him I have learnt to understand better what life is about.
